There have now been two incidences where tar, from our apartment parking lot, has come off of the ground and stuck to the tires of our car.
The first time was a few months back and makes sense that it happened.
You see the complex had just repaved and sealed cracks...
They took down the barriers so we parked along with everyone else and well, we got a back tire stuck and uprooted a good portion of the parking lot when backing out.
Mr. Dawson got the opportunity to use his hands to pull off the tar.
Then on Saturday, I randomly found tar on our front tire after being parked in our lot!
This time I got the opportunity to pull of the tar.
We both now have a deeper understanding and respect for those men that were tarred and feathered.
Tar does not come off of skin easily and hurt to peel off!
Not to say that it was easy to peel the masses of tar off the tire either!
So next time you hear the stories of those that were tarred and feathered and still went out the next day to face their enemies and go about their duties, just know that it really was bad, but maybe much worse than you think.
